Dravyaguna is an integral part of Ayurveda, which deals comprehensively about Rasa, Guna Virya, Vipaka and Prabhava (pharmacokinetics and pharmcodynamics) of herbs. Branch also deals with identification, collection, storage, and preservation of raw materials of plant origin. At Krishna Ayurvedic Collage and Hospital, Bijnor, U.P department has very well established laboratory, herbal garden with about 200 species of plants. Department works with objectives to provide knowledge of fundamental principles of Dravyaguna, drug action as per Ayurveda and conventional system of medicine.
