The Samhita Sanskrit and Siddhanta department is an indispensable and elementary component of Ayurveda academia. This department imparts teaching and training of basic principles of Ayurveda, Ayurveda history, Ayurveda Darsana and Sanskrit language at the undergraduate level. The department of Samhita and Siddhanta primarily focuses on the study of Classical Literature, which forms the foundation for understanding, more specific aspects of Ayurveda.

The Department is also engaged in Fundamental research through, exploration and scientific validation of basic concepts of Ayurveda. The department handles five subjects, which fans throughout the course and deals with a large proportion of the curriculum.

- Sanskrit
- Padartha Vidnyana and Ayurved Itihas
- Moulik Siddhant and Ashtang Hrudayam
- Charaka samhita (Poorvardham)
- Charaka samhita (Uttaraardham)
- Research and statistics.

Biography: Dr.Sunita has done her B.A.M.S. from Gurukul Kangri State Ayurvedic Medical College, Haridwar.She has completed her post graduation in Samhita evam Siddhant Department from Patanjali Bhartiya Ayurvigyan Evam Anusandhan Sansthan, Haridwar in 2019. She has more than five years of experience of teaching. She has attend many seminars and webinars.
